Franchise Orchid Farming Package

Hexagon Green Sdn Bhd pioneered commercial orchid tissue culture and cut-flower farming in 2004. Its tissue culture laboratory at Nuclear Malaysia Technology Park, Bangi is now managed by its wholly owned subsidiary, Hexagon Green Biotech Sdn Bhd as of June 2008. Its 10 Ac commercial orchid farm at Bukit Changgang Agrotech Park, Kuala Langat is now exporting a variety of Dendrobium and Mokara cut-flowers.

Hexagon Green has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field of orchid tissue culture, orchid nursey operations and orchid cut-flower production, processing, packaging and marketing of the internationally sought after tropical orchid hybrids. The company is continuously pursuing excellence in the work it undertakes and compete in the market with innovative ideas and new concepts.

In line with the company's expansion plan, Hexagon Green Sdn Bhd is now in the position of franchising its expertise and farming system with selected national and international clients by offering a Franchise Orchid Farming Package for the development of independantly owned and operated commercial orchid farms.

Selection criteria for potential franchisees

1. The client's providing a land area of 0.5 ha which will be assessed for suitability.

2. The client's ability to secure funds necessary to start and sustain the projected financial requirement up to the commencement of production, with due regards to the scale of operation envisaged.

3. The client will be required to park the development fund with the Project's bankers. Hexagon Green Sdn Bhd may, at its own discretion, assist the client in securing a loan.

4. The client maintain strict confidentiality with respect to all technical and financial matters relating to the Franchise Orchid Farming Package.

5. The client's acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Franchise Orchid Farming Package, as proposed.

The Package

In providing a total management support package,HGSB undertakes to provide the following resources.

1. Technical advice and consultation with respect to all the farm operation as follows:

a. Land suitability assessment
b. Purchases, construction of farm structures equipments planting materials, agrochemicals etc.
c. Farm design & layout, roads, irrigation, water storage and infrastructure.
d. Crop maintanace and plant agronomy.
e. Crop protection
f. flower harvesting, processing, handling, transport and storage.
g. Flower marketing

2. The training of farm employees at HGSB farm

3. Provision of an after-package consultancy services.

4. HGSB has the resources, contact and acumen to ensure that the highest possible sales figures are maintained throughout the entire franchise period, and beyond.
